Why choose Ricky’s Drift for your getaway? I could tell you all about the pristine veldt and the stunning views and the great sunsets. Yes, we have all of those, but it is not what sets us apart and makes us unique.
So let me rather tell you about our cottages.
Each one has its own character and charm.
The Faraway House with high ceilings, wide, shady stoeps, and space is perfect for a family or friends traveling together. Fully enclosed, it is dog friendly.
The very popular Boshuis is ideal for a cozy, romantic break for two. With an outdoor bath and captivating views, it is also very private.
The Top House is ideal for a young family. The large, L-shaped bedroom sleeps 4. The verandahs offer views and privacy. This house is strictly vegan.
We have 5 safari tents. Each is comfortably furnished and has electricity. The tents are serviced by our beautiful indoor/outdoor lounge and kitchen area and a stunning outdoor bathroom. Each tent has its own chill area and view.
We have something for everyone.
The farm has well-maintained hiking trails through the veldt and up into the mountain. We have a natural swimming pool where you can cool off. You can enjoy a meal in our vegan kitchen or we can deliver meals to your cottage. Enjoy relaxing in the beautiful gardens or orchards. Get to know the free-roaming horses and pigs. All rescued and all here for sanctuary for the remainder of their natural lives.
