Mont Rouge Olive Farm

The majestic Mont Rouge Olive farm is situated in the Little Karoo’s Van Wyksdorp. At 200 hectares, it is
one of the three largest olive producers in South Africa with a production capability of 2000 tons per annum.

The Mont Rouge olive groves blend in beautifully with the natural environment and because the farm is blessed with limey soil and an abundance of mountain spring water it, at an elevation of approximately 250 meters above sea level, makes for the perfect Mediterranean terroir for olive cultivation.

Best Quality Olives

Mont Rouge is one of only a few olive processors that have attained FSSC 22000 Food Safety Certification and are audited by SGS annually. In 2017 the farm achieved Best in Class at the New York Best Olive Oils in the World Competition. Mont Rouge became a member of the SA Olive Industry Association in order to ensure premium quality and adherence to their quality standards.
